Examination preparation — these exams are set and awarded by their issuers. FHG prepares you for them and cannot grant them.
This page is generated from the same file the platform runs on. It lists 25 certifications, which 16 of them a track actually prepares you for, and what each entry is missing. Nothing here is marketing copy. It is the data, printed.
Why publish this. Every training platform claims to prepare you for certifications. Almost none will tell you which objectives they skip, which exams they only mention, or which credentials retire next year. We publish all three, because a list of what we cover is only meaningful beside a list of what we do not.
On the DoD labels. The “IAT” tags above are the legacy DoD 8570 levels, still quoted in 2026 postings; DoD 8140 is the current framework and uses the same certifications. Not every gov/DoD seat is cert-gated: the requirement attaches to the position's DCWF coding and the contract's language, not the job title — privileged-access seats typically carry the gate, program-support and Public Trust seats often don't, and DoD 8140 accepts education or experience paths as alternatives to certs. Security+ is the safest door-opener, not a universal legal gate.
How it is maintained. Every entry was checked against the vendor’s own current exam page — CompTIA, Microsoft Learn, ISC2, Cisco, AWS, PeopleCert — and rechecked when anything changed. When we got something wrong, the correction is written on the entry rather than the mistake quietly erased.

Entry below A+, for candidates with no IT background. Compass Mid Tier teaches toward it in 11 modules. Not a DoD 8140 baseline certification.
The most-cited entry IT cert, sat as two exams: 220-1201 and 220-1202.
CompTIA's vendor-neutral networking exam, and the usual step before CCNA.

CompTIA's vendor-neutral networking exam, and the usual step before CCNA.
The most-requested networking certification in the market. Network Foundations prepares toward it with one module per published domain: network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, and automation and programmability. A hiring manager treats CCNA and Network+ as different credentials. The last day to test on CCNA v1.1 is 2 February 2027; v2.0 testing starts 3 February and restructures every domain. FHG is updating this track to v2.0 before then, and membership includes the updated modules.

The most-cited cert on DoD and cleared postings, and an IAT Level II baseline on the legacy 8570 lists. Whether a particular seat requires it depends on that position's coding and the contract, not the job title.
SOC differentiator; also satisfies IAT II. V4 (CS0-004) is current — V3 (CS0-003) is retiring.
Requires 1 year of cumulative paid work experience to be awarded — candidates without it can pass the exam and become an Associate of ISC2 while they earn it.
Track's existing AI-security modules (Employee AI Safety, LLM Privacy Hardening, Copilot Readiness, Secure AI Procurement, Deepfake Defense, Enterprise GenAI Security & Governance, Agentic AI Governance) substantially cover Securing AI Systems (40%) and AI Governance/Risk/Compliance (19%).

The most-cited entry IT cert, sat as two exams: 220-1201 and 220-1202.
The service-management standard MSP/service-desk careers are built on. ITIL (Version 5) Foundation launched in early 2026; ITIL 4 is not retiring and runs in parallel, so ITIL 4 Foundation remains a current credential (checked 3 Oct 2026).
Covers exactly five practices — Incident Management, Service Desk, Service Request Management, Monitoring & Event Management, Problem Management — and every one of the five has a real dedicated module in this track after the B4 wave. ITIL 4 Foundation is a prerequisite. IMPORTANT CAVEAT, stated rather than buried: PeopleCert requires accredited training for the Specialist modules, and FHG is not an accredited ITIL training organization — FHG prepares you on the content, but the accredited course is still required to sit it.

XK0-006 (launched July 2025) is current, supersedes XK0-005.
New — GA June 2, 2026. Automation/scripting, IaC, CI/CD.

The most-cited entry IT cert, sat as two exams: 220-1201 and 220-1202.
Sometimes hard-required at MSPs/consultancies.

Performance-based, not multiple choice.

Three things this page will not do.
It will not tell you that we issue any of these credentials. We do not. CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, ISC2, Cisco and PeopleCert administer their own exams and those fees are theirs.
It will not promise that preparation means passing. Preparation means the material maps to the published objectives. What happens in the exam room depends on you.
And it will not stay accurate on its own. Exams retire. Objectives change. This page is generated from the platform’s own data, so when the map changes the page changes with it — which is the only reason it is safe to publish.
No account, no email. The honest way to judge 180 of these is to read one.
